Drainfields
Nearly one in four households in the United States treat wastewater with onsite septic systems, as do countless businesses including schools, restaurants and retirement facilities. Drainfields, also called onsite waste water recycling systems, are an integral part of a functioning septic system, providing a healthy and environmentally-sound means for waste to break down.
The soil scientists at Simon & Associates have years of experience in evaluating soils in order to design appropriate drainfields and septic systems for any site. At times, space limitations or poor soil prevent the use of traditional septic systems; our certified designers and installers work with our clients to
choose the best system for their space, budget, maintenance abilities and more. Our staff includes Authorized On-Site Soil Evaluators (AOSE), and Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation (DPOR) licensed maintenance and installation professionals.
Whether the site calls for a traditional system or an alternative system that utilizes aerobic methods, mound systems, irrigation systems or other technologies, our team has the expertise to install the system and, where needed, perform ongoing maintenance, inspection and monitoring. We also provide feasibility studies during pre-real estate transactions to help clients understand what type of system they need.
